Logo Design Isn’t Always Easy
Designing a logo can sometimes be mystifying, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. At times a logo design just works, even though it may seem rather unremarkable. Other designs should work but they don’t.

When Things Go Terribly Wrong
The examples in this article demonstrate what can happen when attention to detail,  presentation or judgment becomes hazy during the creative process.

3D Photoshop Object Projects (Photoshop Tutorial Part III)

Practice Makes Perfect
After a while, it seems that plain old 2D Photoshop images are lacking when it comes to creativity for some of your graphic design projects. Maybe you have thought about doing more 3D work but didn’t know where to start. The following Photoshop tutorials can help you create some nice objects. All that is needed is some time, a little persistence, and your talent as a graphic designer.

So without further ado, here are some Photoshop 3D objects for you to create and learn from. Enjoy!

3D Billiard Balls
billard-ballsAt sometime or another you’ll need to create spheres or round objects in your graphic design work. Here’s a quick little tutorial that can help you to get your feet wet in designing round 3D objects.

You’ll learn how to add simple specular highlights and shiny texture to the billiard balls. The original background for this tutorial was a sickly green, but you can change the background color into something more eye-appealing or neutral. (more…;)

Effects Photoshop in Adobe Illustrator (Illustrator Tutorial Part I)

You can also use special effects in Adobe Photoshop when using Adobe Illustrator software. Way through the menu effect —- Submenu name of the facility (effect). But to use special effects, you should use the RGB color system (the way: the File menu, submenu Document Color Mode).

Facilities or the effects are :

1. Artistic
To change the appearance of an object into an artistic image. For example, make it as if painted by the colored pencils, watercolor, dry brush, rough pastel, etc.
Through this artistic special effects, you can also display image files, such as by a plastic coated (Plastic Warp), exposed by a particular light (Neon Glow), etc.

2. Blur
To make the display an image becomes blurred. This effect is useful to refine the look of a photograph.

3. Brush Strokes
To process an image-forming line scratches. For example, highlight the image (accented edges), re-using a brush to paint the side (Angled Strokes), re-painted with a fine pen (Ink Outlines), etc.
